Director of the Department of Human Services Dr. Bruce
Goldberg established the Oregon Emergency Health Care Task
Force to address concerns about the operation and funding of
emergency health care services. This task force was created
to address the poor grade the American College of Emergency
Physicians gave EMS.
The first meeting of the task
force was on December 18, 2009.
The goal of this effort is to
create an integrated, statewide emergency medical care
system that optimizes the emergency care needs of all
Oregonians. Components of this system include:
